give a definition of a world view. how do you view the world economically?
A world view is how you look at the world and how you see things. Everyone has their own worldviews, the way they think of the world. I like to think of it as your opinion on political, economical and social beliefs.
Here are some of mine.
politics is one of the three ways people make their world view. For example, the elections in the USA make me feel like Donald Trump is not a good choice for president because we do have very different worldviews. i think we should have the right to vote because everyone should have an input on who is the next president. I find it crazy when candidates say, "I am against this faith," or ," I am against these people," because I don't understand how you can say that to people in a country that you wish to run. Those are some of the politics world views
i have in mind.
Our economical view on the world is very important. we make money to buy food to eat, clothing to wear, a house to live in, and fresh water to use. in my opinion there shouldn't be a limit to payment because if you earn it then that is fair, but if the job is harming you, the environment, and anyone else then that should not be allowed.I think that people with higher incomes should be paying more taxes than people that earn less because if the government said "everyone must pay the same amount of taxes," the people who are earning less would argue and riot or maybe even die trying to make enough money.
social world views is the last out of the three points. i think of social world views as how people see you as a person. My social worldview is very different. For example, from Donald Trumps. If I compare us, there are many differences. He thinks that making them leave will stop terrorism but I believe that not all terrorists are Muslim. They are just stereotyped by people as an aggressive religion.

1# Religion in healthcare
a) Why do many patients feel lost when they are being treated at a hospital?
b) Why are some doctors lacking spiritual care skills?
c) What are some of the spiritual questions that are asked by hospital patients?
d) How does the chaplain try to reach patients who have not identified with a particular religion?
A) The reason why I think patients feel lost when they are being treated at a hospital are because they could be missing their family. Or they could be in a mental state and not know where they are or they're just really scared and they don't know what to do. Anyways they could also be thinking that the only thing that could save them is god because the people that are very religious think that if God made all he's the only one that has the power to save them from their death or any disease or sickness they have.
B) The reason why some doctors are locking spiritual care skills Is because when they go to medical school they do not talk about that type of skill. For example if you were an eye doctor then you would have to know how the eye works and the layers of it . But in my opinion I think they should have some type of spiritual doctor which can come in at times and can help out the people that are struggling or in the need of a spiritual doctor and I'm pretty sure it could help a lot of the patients get through this stress and anxiety of being locked in a hospital.
C)Some of the spiritual questions that could be asked by hospital patients could be is this going to change my religion. Meaning why could it affect the way I pray to God or worship god. The other question could be can only God save me from the disease or injury that i have. Why religious people would ask that probably because they have more trust in God then they probably have in the people to save them. They would also think since God has powers he will be more reliable then people because people do not possess special powers or the decision of the future in a religious person perspective.
D)The chaplain try to help people by asking them about their religion. Also he tried to find or access ways that involve them in their religion. Like talking to them about the history and about how the religion came to be or something that's on their mind that can be connected to their religion.

Religion does belong in health care systems because there can be a higher chance of helping the patient because you can use some tips and tricks from your religion. some religions have medicines that are made out of natural ingredients that are more effective then other normal medicines. Also when we are sick we try to pray to whoever we follow or believe in. it gives us motivation to try and get better.

2# religion in schools
A) what are some of the arguments to keep religion in schools? Are they valid?
B)what are some of the arguments to keep religion out of schools? Are they valid?
Answer:
Overs the years we learn about religion in schools, but we aren't forced to believe that other religions are better then others. There are lots of parents that want their children to learn about a certain religion and others just don't want to be apart of that in general. Here are some arguments on both perspectives.
Arguments to keep religion in schools
A)All of the arguments to keep religion in schools are from this website i found One is, "teasing about religious differences starts as early as kindergarten.". I do agree that there could be some kids discriminating each other about their religions, although how much knowledge do young children have on religion?this is very true because if they actually think about how much do they think a child will know apart from what someone has told them another arguments is, "Americans are woefully ignorant about religion."i do agree with this in a way There are still some religious people, and many people who are educated about religion. But for the most part, especially in children, there isn't much knowledge on religion. All these points i agree with. But this website is a website seeming to be very religious, and spiritual. Of course they would want religion taught in schools, if the authors are religious themselves. so that means i had to do further research and found some pretty amazing things.
Arguments to keep religion out of schools
B)Like there are arguments to keep religion in schools, there are arguments to keeps religion out of schools. One website I found, that didn't seem very religious, listed some. Although, since the website didn't seem very religious, the authors might not want religion in schools, since they aren't religious themselves. Some of the points were: "It would be a terrible burden on the schools. Teaching and monitoring religion is not the purpose of public schools, and they are not trained or equipped to do it.". Yes, public schools are meant to teach other subjects. But if the students aren't religious at home, how do you expect them to learn about religions in general? How will they grow up to understand different religions if it isn't taught in schools? Another point is: "The places for prayer and religious instruction are the home, the church, the synagogue, the mosque, etc. It is the parent's responsibility to educate their children in religious matters, not the schools."Again, if the parents want to teach their children religion, fine, But how will those children grow up one day to understand different cultures and religions?
Make your case
In my opinion i think that there should be religion taught i schools because how will children know what religion is and what kinds there are if they were never informed about it before. Many kids are growing up knowing next to nothing about different religions and beliefs. overall there should be religion in schools so children can know the difference between other religions.
3# Religion and politics
A) Define "secular"
B) Discuss the arguments for having religion in politics.
C) Discuss the arguments against having religion in politics.
Answer
A) Activities, or other things that have no religious or spiritual basis.
B) At the time a lot of people in the 40's and 50's think that religion should be part of politics. For example a person in Chicago Illinois said," that religion is one of the most important things in peoples lives". And one other person from the Ukraine said, that the Ukrainian government is a diverse type of government that also listens to religious people and works with them. With another person from New Mexico city that said, powerful religion groups influence in the decisions of the government. They also said that gay marriage should be illegal and that they could turn down selling anything as a shopkeeper to a gay couple.
C) On the other hand the younger community thinks differently. For example the younger people of Massachusetts came together as one and discussed topics about religion and politics and how it should not be in our government. But when they went to the part of gay marriage most of them said that it should be legal and i do agree with them because it is their choice if they want that and they aren't bothering us in any way so why bother them. There is nothing wrong with it and people should live freely as they want to.
Make your case
I think religion should not be a part of politics. Because it can turn out well in the beginning but over time there could be racism and discrimination. And there could be arguments that could lead to big problems and maybe even a war against religion and politics. Another thing we should think about is that religion has its own rules and politics have its own rules. They are both beyond different. What I am trying to say is that religion can get involved in politics or politics can get involved in religion a few times but not all the time.
The Middle Ages
The black death
PART 1
1) Is it more likely that the plague originally entered Europe on the Venetian or Genome trade route? Cite evidence for your answer?
It enter Europe from Genoa so that all the cities near it like Pisa and Marseilles could get affected. Also it was easier to travel by ship than land because Genoa was on the coast.
2) Did the plague seem to travel more quickly along the shipping routes or over land? Cite evidence for your answer?
The Black plague travelled/spread faster by ship because all the ''goods'' were contaminated and they were getting imported and exported by ship and the majority of the city would eat the goods and also get contaminated. And since no one knew that it was in the ''goods'' that had the virus, cities would trade food for supplies which lead to even a bigger spread of the virus because other cities would eat the food and get contaminated.
3) How do you think the plague travelled to Paris, over land or along shipping routes? Cite evidence for your answer?
I think that it travelled by land because their was no way to get from ship and also it it was not as close to the coast.
4) Why did the plague take so long to reach London, when it had arrived in nearby Paris a year earlier? Cite evidence for your answer?
The reason it took such a long time is because their was a war going on with Paris. So ships would not be able to dock and it was too dangerous even if they could dock.
5)How do you believe the plague travelled to Hamburg, over land or long the shipping routes? Cite evidence for your answer?
I think the shipping route was used, because you have to cross water and since they used a ship to get to London they must have used it to travel to Hamburg.
6) Is it possible, given the information you have, to tell if the plague travelled to Hamburg over land directly from Genoa or by way of Paris? Cite evidence for your answer?
I believe the plague travelled to Hamburg on the way from Paris. And the reason why i think so is because Liege is one of the places that were infected and it is directly in between of Paris and Hamburg.
